This FABULOUS FLAPPER Pattern Ad Art CD is from five 1928 McCall pattern publications. There are full page illustrations of the color pattern ad art and an MS Word document lists the pattern numbers as well as the Designers on several models. All JPGs are approximately 800 pixels wide and over 1000 pixels in height. They are a great size for printing and a fantastic period dressmaking reference.



There are 88 pictures and the partial page pix on each side of the cover for the Sommer Quarterly have been cropped and reduced. The patterns illustrations have some marvelous accessory illustrations and there are numerous transfer patterns illustrated on the models. There are probably close to 400 different models.

I redid this CD from the original 2005 Collection after I acquired the Autumn issue above. The only tri-tone on this CD is of the Bridal dresses in the pix to the right. The old  1926-1927 issue is now archived as I have acquired all four of
the quarterlies for each year and will be redoing to include all issues.

The above issue was a bonus for this year and was a smaller size page-wise, but all in glorious color. My CD pictures are great for printing and folks have used them for Fabric Blocks ~an issue of Paper Dolls ~ I have made Christmas Cards and more ~ One Lady used them to make cards to sell at a thrift shop ~ Another made a graph for Cross Stitch. All of these uses are great with a nod to the source. Please do not sell or give away the digital art as it is copyrighted and is the result of long hours of work and a humongous lot of money in source materials.



The models on this CD may also be represented in the 1929 Catalogue Collection, however the pictures are quite different. The pictures in the catalogue were identical to the paste on labels that McCall had on the smaller pattern packages for this era. The fabrics and accessories are spectacular Fashion Eye Candy!
