As can be seen by the center picture above this CD Collection was compiled
from scans from a Simplicity Counter Pattern Catalogue for July of 1935. There
are a total of 150 JPG pictures in a generous print-able size with one of these of the cover. The titles are the pattern numbers which range from from the mid 1300's
to the latter part of the 1700s.

The majority are dresses or skirt and top combinations, however there are a few other dressmaking items as can be seen by the samplers shown here. MY CD collections are a wonderful way to have some beautiful period color illustrations at a very reasonable price. All of the McCall's issues are from my personal collection.

My CD pictures are great for printing and folks have used them for Fabric Blocks ~an issue of Paper Dolls ~ I have made Christmas Cards and more ~ One Lady used them to make cards to sell at a thrift shop ~ Another made a graph for Cross Stitch. All of these uses are great with a nod to the source is appreciated. Please do not sell or give away the digital art as it is copyrighted and is the result of long hours of work
and a humongous lot of money in source materials.

The CDs are on a plain CDR in a slim jewel case with a homemade label insert.
There are a few pictures in the catalogues of illustrations
close to the binding edge that may have shadowy edges, but they are
representative of beautiful period fashion and were worth including (but not worth damaging the source to get a better picture).

While I am a self-taught computer user and have no graphics training, other than rolling up my sleeves and getting in there and doing and re-doing, the end results are a valuable record of dressmaking fashion history. Check out my other issues and look for new items in the months to come.
